I have never been one to sit down, put something on the tv or computer, and just… watch. No way. I always like keeping my hands busy by working on a project. Multitasking is my friend and I find I focus even better when I’m working on something while watching my favorite streamers sooooo here are my 5 favorite things to do.

1. Knitting
A little over a year ago I took some knitting lessons at my local yarn store and fell in love with knitting. As much as I love its similar counterpart of crochet, there is nothing quite like the cozy ribbed stitches that you get with knitting. Lately I have been working on my second sweater which I promise is not too difficult for beginners. I knitted a scarf and then a hat and then have been working on this sweater pattern.
2. Nails
I am a total beginner in this department but I really enjoy slow meticulous hobbies to compliment overstimulating fast paced game play. Even just soaking my nails in hot water, taking time to clean up my cuticles, and filing my nails can be fun to work through while I have a stream on in the background. I recommend a glass nail file, I have this one from Sephora.
3. Eat a Snack Plate
Before I game or during breaks I make sure I eat enough. One of my favorite things to put together is a snack plate or charcuterie board. There is something satisfying about plating a bunch of little snacks and then picking away at it as I watch a good stream. I normally pick a meat (prosciutto, salami, turkey), cheese (parmesan, cheddar, mozzarella), nuts (cashews, almonds, pistachios), fruit (strawberries, blueberries, pomegranate), and something sweet (dark chocolate, chocolate covered almonds, peanut butter cups). That is my winning formula and I love plating it to look nice and neat.
4. Face Mask
15 minutes for a facemask goes by pretty quick when ur watching a good stream. Feels good and have super soft skin by the end of it. My favorite sheet masks are these. I will treat myself to one every once in a while.
5. Make Tea
Before opening my stream I’ll use my kettle to make some tea. Last trip I went to the cutest afternoon tea shop in Boston and picked up some Earl Grey tea. Holding onto a warm drink and taking sips with a blanket in my lap and I have the coziest little spot.
